Hmmm. . . It's Wednesday and I finished my test.  I had a little celebration by eating some Jell-0 pudding.  I know I should have had yogurt, but the pudding just sounded really good.  I've got just a few minutes to post before I go out to run so I'll catch you up quickly.  I had oatmeal with, yes, hot chocolate and peanut butter.  I also had a cup of coffee, which was needed!  On call made me sad cause I got snacky around 11, so I really need to just go to bed earlier.  So yeah, didn't go to bed until 2 and therefore needed coffee at 7:00.  By lunch though I was hungry!  I had a turkey sandwich and an apple and of course, the pudding!  

My afternoon is a run, 12 miles again, and a meeting at 4:00.  I think I have some friends cooking dinner at 7:00.  I'll need to drink lots of water in order to make it until 7:00 though.  I guess we will see.

Wet Dog






I was a wet dog today.  I did a 12 mile run, the whole thing in the rain!  I loved it though.  Something about the rain makes me feel like a spring flower, ready to bloom!  I had a "long" day with lots of class and doing work, but I'm also being a procrastinator!  I have a child psyc test in the a.m.  and although I spent a lot of time studying last night I still have a TON to get through.  I'm also on call tonight.  I almost always go to mass on Tuesday in or dorm, but I think I'll skip and do work tonight :(  I had a bowl of chicken tortilla soup for dinner after getting cold from the rain run.  I also had an egg white on a arnold sandwich thin and a teaspoon of PB and J (how I fend of cravings).  I finished it off with a tiny brownie (made by a resident) and a cup of hot chocolate that I'd been craving.  Seems like a lot of food (I guess that happens when you run 12 miles in the rain!

Yum Yam




MMMMMMMMMM............. I had a Yam for dinner and can I say MMMMMMMMMMMM....  I got some casion salt and added that to the yam that I cooked on my George Forman.  I also had some yogurt and mulitply the cookie by two (hey it was SO good).  I'm off to our late night 10 pm mass.  I'm not actually sure how I'll stay up that late (11:00).  I'm so out of it, tired.  Anyway, I don't want Monday to start, I like my weekends.  I hope I can find a way to make them last longer someday.  Plus I have a test this week and I have to say, I don't want to study!!!

Lunch?






I'm not sure if this counts as lunch but it turned out to be lunch.  I started getting really snacky around 10:30 for some reason.  I had an orange, a carrot, more than plenty cereal, a string cheese, and a pudding.  It's an odd lunch, but it's what my lunch turned out to be. 

I had an easy breakfast.  An easy bowl of shredded wheat and milk!  YUM

Poor Planing





Man, it was a day of poor planning as for eating, emotionally though, I'm a little back on track. Being back on track feels really good.  Thanks Cori!  She rocks.  I was snacking on shredded wheat so I didn't really feel hungry at lunch.  I grabbed an apple and went to the farmers market!!!  I also knew that the farmers market has AMAZING cookies so I wanted to make sure I had room in my calorie bank for one.  It was amazing.  I also bought flowers, daffodils are my favorite and they smell SO good.  I went to bread co. to study and got a little homework done!  However, I got SO hungry at 3:30 and didn't have a snack.  I went up to the desk and knew I needed more than a small cup of fruit.  I selected a chocolate chip muffie.  I've looked up the calories online and it's about 250 which I decided was a good amount.  I wish I had had a balance bar and I could have gotten some protein.  Anyway.  Cori and I had dinner together!  I had a broccoli bowl!!!!  It's white meat chicken, broccoli, and brown rice.  SO yummy and at 350 calories, plus protein and vitamins.  Anyway, I got some good sleep

I now know!




OH MY GOSH Chobani is SO good.  I now know what I was missing out on.  It is SO yummy and 140 calories and get this 28% of your daily protein!  I also had a chewy granola bar and snacked on some frosted shredded wheat.  Oh and I had a cup of coffee.  I did a 10 mile run and then already cleaned my room and did my laundry.  Now I'm planning on hitting the farmers market and doing some homework at Bread co. *Panera.  I have a some homework to do today!  I'm hopping to also get some work done relax a little.

Dinner with Lovely people

I got to have dinner with one of my closest friends, which was wonderful.  We had noodles!  I am not comfortable taking pictures yet in public places, so I'm posting the web page! 

it's noodles web page, I can't get it to copy.  SO I had the noodles Thai Curry Soup, it's about 500 calories, and was wonderful.  I also sucked down some grapes and strawberries!  And had a single girl scout cookie!


It's Friday afternoon, take a break







So It's Friday afternoon and I'm taking a break!  I had a rough hour or so, so I did errands!  I went to whole foods and picked up some things I've been wanting to try and some cereal *frosted shredded wheat is my favorite.  I also wanted to try to chobina greek yogurt and a synergy drink (good, kind of fermentation taste).  I also got some Strawberries for tonight with my CLC girls!  Yeah I can't wait.  While I was out I got a shirt to wear to my interviews and new running shoes.  I also got some running toe socks cause my toes have been rubbing together.  I'm gonna hit the road for a 10 miler and then come back and do a little reading!


It's Friday



Yeah It's Friday.  I'm not sure what is going on today, but at least it's Friday.  I really want to stay on track this weekend.  Also Note, I will have some dinner pictures, I need to work up the guts to take pictures of dinner cause now I have all of you!  I don't know what I want for lunch, but I'd like to hit whole foods up soon.  I kind of want some greek yogurt and a piece of bread or something!  I'm also thinking about upping my protein.  I read that 25% is the good amount to eat and I know I am way below that.  So anyway.  I actually got to eat my breakfast today!  It was what I wanted yesterday. But that is okay.  I had Oatmeal and a banana and some coffee!  Yum

What a day






Ofta, it's only 1:30 and I feel like my day has been a reck.  I'm really having trouble calming down after a resident, I'm an RA, got sick this morning and last night.  I've decided I will be very bad at this when I have my own kids.  SO I'm in a little bit of a frenzy.  

Some how, before my resident woke up I was able to do pilates for half an hour!!!!!! and take a shower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Breakfast got crammed in.  I was planning to slice my banana over some oatmeal, but because of my sick resident wasn't able to get that done.  So I grabbed a chewy granola bar and banana and ate as I ran to class.

Lunch was funny.  I couldn't think of anything to eat that didn't involve peanut butter so I ran over to the gas station and picked some up.  I did get a little snacky because of the frenzy.

Emotions throw things off

My Aunt passed away today and it threw me off. I started the day eating well, but after that, I'm off
I don't really want to write about it

Detox Day

HMMMM, after super bowl food, today is a detox day.  I had a grapefruit first thing and I'm gonna do some yoga before I do some work before my 10:00 class.  It's great to get up and get going!  I have a midterm (short class) on Tuesday so I'm going to hit the books tonight :(  I'm not ready to be back today, wish it was still the weekend.  Okay I'm gonna do some yoga in order to stretch out my muscles from the long run yesterday (yeah a 20 miler, makes me feel strong).  So the plan is to write every day at least twice a day!

Good meal, the grapefruit helped with an extreme thirst!  Oatmeal filled me up and the coffee I hope will help keep me going.  Got up really early to run, but it was worth it as long as I can make it all the way through the day.  Coffee, thank you!

It's one thirty so yeah!  I got a little, but not a lot done so far today.  I've finished reading for child psyc and am now going to work on Family and Individual skills.  I haven't been hungry get, but think I'll eat some cottage cheese for some protein and maybe that way I won't be starving at dinner and ruin it.  Also a good chance dinner will be late tonight, so I sort of want to wait.  The plan is to study for another hour and then hit the gym for quite some time.  I need to check out my Shape book and find the total body lifting plan.  I could really use putting some lifting back into my life.  I've already done power yoga today.  I think I'll make that part of my daily plan cause it makes me feel really good, long and lean (even if I'm not).  okay I got the cottage cheese out so I'll log that food

My Girl

Have I ever told you that my song is my girl.  When my Mom is driving down the road and hears it, she calls me!  As much as I know it's everyone song, this one makes me feel really special.  I didn't wake up until 10:00?  Like I said, I think I'm a little under the weather so I hope the sleep helps.  I'm now enjoying a cup of ginger bread tea.  When I bought the tea I thought it looked good and then tasted it and thought it was bad, but now I'm really into it again.  I'm gonna have to hit trader joes this week and buy some more tea and fruit and veggies.  This morning I had

The plan is to study until 12:00 or so and then maybe do some Yoga, then run around 2:00 and hit the gym to lift weights.  I want to get a little more fitness information today and start a lifting plan, I know my shape book has some all over body one's so I think I'll look into that!

Not a good day

For some reason today was not a good day.  I'm very tired and worn out and I have a lot of homework to do (bleak).  I also ate to much today which makes me mad at myself.  I need to slow down and stop eating and eating.  I really just don't feel like eating cause it means I'm alone and I don't feel like being alone.  I need to gat back to normal eating habits before I try to continue  on like this!  Its not okay.  I can't expect others to think of me as "normal" until I can be normal and I really need to learn how to be normal about food.  SO I think I'll post a picture of something!

an ellaroo returns

WOW, I started another blog and guess I forgot about this one, but now worries, I"M BACK!  I want to talk about health and do this everyday so I stay on track!  I think I'd like to loose about 5 more lbs (that would make me 130) for Boston.  I know it will be hard, and the worst is I will have to control the urge to snack snack snack!  I started by writing down what I eat.  It's noon and I'm at 800 calories.  I think I'll try to hold out until dinner to add any more on.  I also need to watch my sleep.  I've been getting a little low on it and I know that makes it hard to control cravings.  SO I'm going to go for under 1,500 calories a day and see if I can watch some weight come off.  I'm running low on battery so I've got to go
